While I certainly find that pretty awful, it's kinda par for the course with this type of game. People want endless choices and ridiculous scenarios to unfold. With mystical druids in the game this was bound to happen eventually. Not saying I'm in support but I'm not surprised.
And if I started boycotting every single thing that didn't align with my morals and values, I'd never watch or play another video game or movie ever again. Violence is so normalized in our culture even the "good guys" fight/kill/hurt people. The purpose of 90% of video games is some variation of "murder/defeat the enemy" in some way shape or form. We just call it competition to feel like we're civilized and not barbarians.
