maximum penalty of one year in jail and a maximum possible fine of $2,500 or both.
In DC, there is no mandatory
minimum penalties for unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of an unregistered firearm, and carrying a pistol without a license.
I believe the case was filed in DE and in that case...
