Very rich people wield immense power, and Elon Musk is a piece of shit, as are most very very rich people. That's why he doesn't 'deserve' it, because the net effect of someone being able to accumulate that much wealth and power is negative across society. In the presence of two parties that continually sell out the country to moneyed interests, beyond a certain point, the power that level of wealth brings is immoral. Why do you think both Republicans and Democrats have the same frustrating feeling of not having a say in anything? Our institutions are highly dysfunctional. They need to be fixed. In the meantime, once someone hits $1 billion, give them a plaque that says they win capitalism, and tax the fuck out of anything over that. That goes for both George Soros and Rupert Murdoch. Fuck them both it's too much power.
Agree on almost everything, especially the top much power. But speaking of immoral, I think stealing their money is just an immoral of a solution. Needs to be better ones
