Nor do you know Putin, ex-KGB pining for the glorious days of the Soviet Union and willing to invade and conquer countries he feels are still Russian.
This time he went too far. He got away with Crimea, he can't be allowed to get away with any more. NATO expanded because of his actions, and because of him NATO still even has reason to exist. For a while there it seemed like NATO was no longer needed. Putin showed us that's not true.
