Lol so! Long story short. I WASSS thinking about having the big draw for goblins as A. 1 faction would be smugglers and sailors basically ripping straight from pirates of the Caribbean for flavor while B. Another faction would be flavored as the lost boys of Peter pan. The zones could function as a "Kelethin if it covered the entirety of Faydark" but a jungle. and C. Would be "Dum-Dums" would be exiled goblins who were sent to the gnomes "sky prison" for being "too smart for their own good" or "disturbers of the peace" and those ones will effectively be the doorway into "Spelljammer space hexcrawl" portion of I make it that far.
Just got my laptop so my life dream now is to see if I can transcribe a thinly veiled "Keep on the Borderlands" reskinned as Metroid meets Cthulhu vs a Dwarven Outpost
