Are goblins going to be PC's or NPCs?

I think you should break teh standard fantasy tropes about goblins on this game --- no harry potter goblins, no wow goblins... no eq goblins

maybe technogoblins who are like computer hackers and cyborgs and they hack into the gnomes? they behave more sophisticatedly and have a v sophisticated and intricate culture with social taboos and stuff

maybe they are kinda like some dystopia where they live minimalist lives except for their tech, a goblin home is like a dome made of some high tech material with a terminal in it and space for a few servers and its all clean cut lines and empty of furniture except the zero gravity chair they lay in to do their hacking, they make a nutritional fluid and some kind of "Chips" (named like microchips) but edible chips that they sustain themselves on and there's like a religious sacrement daily where they all bless the chips before consuming them, then return to their hacking. Goblin sports could be like who can assemble a server the fastest and contests of setting up firewalls and intrusion detection systems. They are like totally socialist/communist so a lot more like Alien Greys than goblins. They worship science and a favorite pass time of theirs is to hack into the gnomes sensors and satilites and data archives and explore the universe using the gnomes tools. So they watch videos about the other planets in the system basically all day. Just vidoes made by themselves of the data the gnomes use to scout resources, learn geologic and cosmologic features of the universe.

There could be a secret sect of vampire Goblins who are shunned by all the rest who instead of sustaining themselves on nutritlional paste use tech to sneak in and steal the nutrients out of other beings bodies to replinish their own.
