Long ago, the Dwarves of Aerthula were a mighty civilization, delving deep into the earth and mountains to extract precious gems and metals. But their greed led to their downfall, and they were cursed by their own misdeeds.

Some fled to the surface, horrified by the fate of their kin, and became the Hjilld Dwarves. They shun the mountains and the Urrt Gates, for they fear the curse that still lingers there.

Others, the Urrt Dwarves, remain in the deep caverns and tunnels beneath the mountains, living a traditional dwarven life. But their history is tainted by the sins of their ancestors, and they struggle to reclaim the heights their civilization once reached.

And then there are the Fylgja, the cursed ones who cannot resist the siren call of the sky. They travel the world in caravans, offering item transfer services and fast travel routes to those in need.

The dwarves of Aerthula are a proud and resilient people, but they are haunted by the mistakes of their past. Yet, they continue to persevere and seek redemption, hoping to one day undo the curse that plagues their kind.
