Wizzy is not easy as a noob, but it could be fun. In i suggest to you: use rain's spells. There are really mana efficient and you will do good dmg.
I still use rains in raid, but you have to watch if add were mezzing, and they are not really often resist. Especialy if yu ll do Staff of temperate flux quest.
