300k education, would have got you 3+ multi million dollar homes back then.
Or 10+ rental units
that would have doubled
not to mention for 10 years renters would have been paying those mortgages (ironically with school loans)
Unless you were part of a tech acquisition, you are not gonna beat those #s with 10 years of working for someone.
