I remember hearing somewhere that the reason we can’t picture heaven in our minds and media is all we tend to use is our own idea of endless hedonistic pleasure, like golden-lined streets, endless chocolate that never makes us fat, gorgeous virgins to bang…and all of the hedonistic pleasures don’t measure up to what heaven should be for an eternity of existence
Showing that there are things more important than pleasure/hedonism to what we perceive as our soul
