no, my beef is with both sides, they have a political agenda and are just trying to score gotcha points. i literally think neither side actually give a shit about a actual random child dealing with this issue.
the right wants to prevent it no matter what, the left wants to slam on the accelerator without giving a single second of pause of the dangers of these meds. or not even the meds, just taking what the kid says at face value.
i can't find the source and it was literally some chick on a joe rogan episode but she talked about this hitting friend groups in school the exact same way a normal fad does. when i was a kid i thought jnco jeans were cool. then i grew the fuck up. luckily the jeans weren't my biological process that's suppose to happen at that age. even actual like gay and lesbian scholars have issue with this stuff, on bill maher it was andrew sullivan and i forget the woman's name citing actual studies about it just being a phase they will grow out of and most will turn gay or lesbian

There seems to be a correlation between autism and trans identifying, especially for females. This is just a hunch though, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see more about it at a future date
