I remember a huge part of the push against traditional sub zero models was how unhealthy role models they were. Besides where is the point of an underwear model with no breasts or buttocks. By the same health logic the pendulum has swung too far - overweight causes its own slue health problems.

I suspect more than signalling ‘fat acceptance’ or whatever there may more reasons for use of large models - in an age of epidemic overweight using skinny models may be outgrouping one of your largest markets dissuading them from buying your models. Some kind of ‘one of us’ factor by using models which sadly match the population?
