Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE hates the English. The Scots, the Irish, the French, the Germans.
At different times in history the English dominated other parts of the island, we (as the "British" considering our Parliament is nationally controlled from London) won't hand back Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland. All the EU countries hate us for Brexit (Scotland say they want to go back into the EU).
It goes on.
I'm okay with that. They all speak English.
