i see the same things goin on with the trans folks these days, they took so much shit from society for so long that the minimal gains they have made recently seem like they won a whole war, and they are so reactionary to anything with the slightest perception of derision because they aren't used to being accepted yet. While conservative people these days aren't used to being the minority voice.
I absolutely support anyone's rights to freedom regardless of their lifestyle choice, but to expect me to stop cracking jokes at their expense is like expecting the sun to stop shining.
