The way I quit was to keep the monthly cost framed in my mind, and then whenever I had a craving, I taught myself to think about something else entirely. I dunno if that works for others but it worked for me, I quit about six years ago after about fifteen years of a pack per day.

Thankfully, on television, there aren't a lot of extended shots of people smoking like there used to be. There's a lot of smoking on Yellowstone.
On the show Lucifer, everytime he tries to light up it rains, the lighter fails or something else. Never been a smoker but its good to see it for others. One character just carries an unlit smoke around. Good stuff.
