We watched "The Whale" last night. That was the most depressing movie I've seen in a good while. I'm an Aronofsky fanboy but yeesh that was a tough one to get through. Maybe I missed some nuance, maybe it's just that my life is depressing enough so I usually seek more positivity in films and television... waited for months and was kind of disappointed.
