Trusting other players while you are new shouldn't be bad? Having no gauge on the value of currency or what gear/stats even do really doesn't give you much perspective, so basically just open to whatever people hand you because you're simply not wise enough yet.
But ye, I'm just whining. This is what this forum category is for, I thought? It's not like I'm going around being a negative meanieface to everyone who tries handing out gear/plat or rude/disliking towards those who have given me things.
