I still think the 'elf race only' response you received was incorrect if that's what they truly said. I'm no authority, but I'm willing to bet they'd let you do it with an RP appropriate name, but not if you're just trying to slip by some truncated phrase or word they wouldn't allow if fully spelled out. This one read as 'the ghoul' to me so is borderline not-allowable IMO, but at least it
