It was new to me when i logged in to EQ
I was like woa there specializations/??? but what is a magician??? if that is what you are getting at
Wizard
Necromancer
And Enchanter made sense to me, magician was a bit of a surprise. I think they just felt it would be too powerful if wizards could be all 4 things or all 3 things. So they hacked out magician class.
