I’m biased though, every single person I’ve known who is clearly smarter than me has been smug. So the trade off of the knowledge I soak from them is it comes with smugness. I accept that though

I know people more intelligent. More mechanically apt. They could benefit from my wisdom or intuition or creativity. Even tho I'm outclassed in every way computationally.
I'm just saying its an easy trap to fall into. The left conveniently loves to point out when the strong takes advantage of the week. This isn't necessarily true by default. Butt then equanimity shows us this isn't necessarily true.
