Yet without student loan / education reform, or some form of forgiveness, an entire generation will be saddled with such profound debt as to essentially be condemned to a life of wage-slavery with close to zero discretionary income to power the economy.
Yea, they shouldn't have taken out loans like that and then failed to find a good job. And yea, the businesses should recognize that apocalyptic shit can happen, and you need to have a rainy day fund to stay afloat in tough times, or to adapt and survive.
Bailouts are fucking nonsense both for businesses and individuals. Unfortunately, we live in a world where there are bailouts, and they ONLY go to subsidize hard times for corporations who then keep their profits when spring comes. If we're going to be doing bail-outs, bail out some people who fucking need it for once.
