Every time I see a post like this, I'm sad that people are unable or unwilling to accept that P99 has a concept, and it's not "what kind of EQ would be fun for YOU."
P99 is an emulator server set up to approximate what it would have been like to play Everquest from 1999 to around the beginning of 2002 or so. As has been said, it's more of a museum piece - a bit of nostalgia for those who played back then.
If you really want a server with your ideal ruleset, there are dozens of other emulators you may choose from, or here's an idea: make your own. This thread really belongs either in Rants and Flames, possibly retitled Rants, Flames and Musings, or perhaps in Off Topic. Because this isn't an idea for a P99 server, but rather for a EQEmu server.

P99 is already split up into 3 non-classic servers...which ends up being a detriment to the playerbase. They would be better off just merging them all into 1 non-classic server with all the pop under one roof & add a little excitement back into the game via occasional PVP.

Also, nothing I am suggesting is too far out there or breaks the spirit of classic. It essentially is a mix of classic Rallos Zek with classic random Blue server.
The poll numbers look encouraging. It is a 50/50 split, even on the blue forum poll! Most the 'No' votes are probably people that caught the slightest whiff of PVP and immediately voted without reading.
