Or, to be more precise, to my knowledge no one has presented any evidence that they could (not even if you go further, into the Luclin era), and I haven't found any myself ... presumably because
no one could during the classic era.
And again, we don't need to look to laggy internet connections to explain it: plain old mechanical differences (eg. channeling mechanics) offer all the explanation we need.
