Generally yes my gut tells me there is a correlation between intelligence and compassion for societies at large. As we get smarter, we are less barbaric to each other. I know there’s a million examples of how tech can make the ones that aren’t capable of much more carnage, that should go without saying IMO. But by compassion I still don’t believe in the idea of never-ending unconditional compassion. That’s not an intelligent position to take IMO

It’s not so much of a compassion issue it’s that only dumb people who don’t know the truth are the ones that will go and fight.
If you have a brain you know that you will be in pain and you will die and you will get nothing from the VA and no one will care about you and corrupt people will just do fucked up shit anyways.
As soon as everybody realizes that then they’ll stop going to fight for people that don’t give a crap about them.
Right now the only reason people fight is because they’re stupid and soon people won’t be stupid because we’ll put computers in our brains and evolve to more pressing issues.
Like I know that you’re like ‘oh but there will always be some army’ but what I’m trying to tell you is that no there won’t be, one day everybody will be so smart that there will never be an army because anyone who tries to make one will just be laughed at.
