They are the same thing, neither the Democrats or the Republicans can or will acknowledge the favors they do each other
Democrats unknowingly protect fascism by insisting on easily abused civility expectations and going tit for tat with the right
Republicans are fascists who exploit the gullibility and cowardice of the Democrats
The end result is essentially the same, but one allows you to eat it from within
