I would make the penalties for greed pretty severe if it were left up to me to make rules in some future society. I dunno if I'd kill anyone but I would cook up something. I don't think this sentiment is even that unpopular, when you ask around. Republicans seem to think all Democrats approve of it, and Democrats seem to think all Republicans approve of it. Which I believe is precisely what those greedy people would want the plebs to think.

I don't see why it has to be the yin and yang of capitalism or communism. I think we can take pieces of both and forge something better than both.
I am sure it is human nature to
want more, but is it human nature to act to get more for yourself? I'm not sure it is. Many religions try to teach us to share, in essence. I have found most people will help strangers unless helping is detrimental to them.
