Reminds of when I used to live in Japan. You can buy cough medicine that has codeine in it over the counter called Bron. I didn't abuse it per say, but I was working on a navy base, and every winter a big team of workers would come out from Washington State, Virginia, and Hawaii to work on the carrier, and that always meant some kind of nasty amalgamation of a cold would spread around. Whenever I felt it coming on, I knew it was time to party.
Eat a nice big dinner, pop a few too many Bron pills chased with a big swig of nyquil, take a hot bath, and then pass the fuck out for like 16 hours. Sometimes I'd wake up still in my bathrobe. And I'd have the wildest dreams. Ahh good times.
Apparently there's even studies on Bron abuse. lol.
