It'd be more like a UFO thing where I was breeding slaves to keep the empire rolling and stay ahead in the evolutionary arms race (social, military, intellectual, economic, control) butt remotely and covertly.
At some point the slaves just get to smart and unruly tho. So ur best bet is to stay an isolated hermit no one cares about or knows about. Or envies.
