Norman is it’s own thing, but I’d say it depends on where they hail from. If they’re Normans from England or Normans from Ireland or France, it makes a difference.

Normans typically come from northern France.
They were Scando vikings (Norway and Denmark) who attacked France so much that the king was like "Fuck it, just take this part and leave us alone".
Then the Normans attacked England in 1066 lol
