The same rough percent who got the vaccine had myocarditis as those unvaccinated post CoVid19.

Heart inflammation can scar the heart, and scar tissue on the heart can cause disturbances to the heart's electrical system and can kill you. It's hardly just a nice innocent treatable condition. And no, covid does not cause it by the same mechanism, nor at the same rate. Do you seriously think that covid itself, and the vaccine, miraculously cause it at the exact *same* rate?

Yes, it's a rare side effect. But a side effect none the less. And as always, the main concern is that *there's no long term data*. Forget myocarditis. You can't claim something is safe when it has only existed for five seconds. Many, many, many medications (and also some vaccines btw) have been recalled due to unforeseen side effects. Multiple countries have even banned or restricted some of the *covid* vaccines.
