I'd re-word that as saying that an ordinary man won't regard that 90 year old as attractive as a 25 year old (as dating older folks is indeed justifiable for many reasons, such as being old oneself), but having made that change, I agree. There's a floor, and there's a ceiling, and while both of those things may change with age and from one individual to the next, they very much exist and will only change so much within limits created by nature and human instinct.
One day we will likely develop technology sufficient to reduce aging's effects to where such concerns change. Maybe one day 90 won't matter anymore. I don't think I'll still be around long enough to see it, but we'll get there eventually. Even today, lifestyle and technology changes mean there are probably a larger number of attractive 50 year olds, now, than there were attractive 40 year olds 150 years ago. Maybe our ghosts can re-visit this thread another 150 years henceforth.
