Just call them the right term " Sycophants " in the " Long game " of generational cycles, they lord over the common people who think about the next meal, the next day, or maybe the next year.

Very few people think decades or generations ahead in their planning.

Its not the rich, they are all small time, flash in the pan distractions. Their names are well known and not so well known, but they do not do much in the public light.

What they do however enjoy is to force people who are already in the public to perform spectacles for them. So you have your random person A perform a hand gesture on live TV. They are just a pawn performing as always, but the people further back behind the curtain get a small nod.

"Elite" make them so happy as its one step closer to the common person averting their gaze to the ground or handing over their children without a second guess. They are our betters afterall?
