The only other thing I’ve heard, as someone who still hasn’t seen it, is portraying Galadriel as a kind of a Mary Sue warrior which seems to some like a transparent attempt at female empowerment messaging. When you have a character that is naturally great at everything with no flaws, it doesn’t leave much room for growth or character arc, and makes them feel a bit unrelateable. Granted, Galadriel is supposedly one of the most powerful female characters in Tolkien’s mythology, but people might be getting a bit tired of a string of overpowered flawless female heroes like Rey and Captain Marvel one after another in modern movies

(Note: I also haven’t seen She-Hulk and heard that’s bad for a host of other reasons like horrible CGI and bad jokes, but one of the many criticisms is that the main character is kind of a bitch. I never had a problem with that. At least that leaves room for growth. Think about Thor in his first movie. He was arrogant and didn’t respect his own dad, who was a very good person. So I personally have no problem with a character starting with negative personality traits)

Also, making Galadriel a plate-wearing, sword swinging warrior is also much different than how she’s portrayed in the books (supposedly) and the LOTR movies. There seems to be this desire to copy male characteristics in modern female heroes such as being physically strong, a front-line fighter, not showing negative emotion, not being vulnerable, and calling that empowering. You’re just copying masculine traits. It’s more nuanced than this but I don’t feel it’s the best way to portray empowered women
She took part in the Noldor rebellion(while also cursing Feanor!) so it's in character for her to be martial I might surmise.
