If my house were foreclosed upon and my car repossessed, if I had to try to battle uphill against a swarm of other jobless persons while I was trying to make ends meet from living on the streets without access to fresh changes of clothing or a daily shower, shit, I might just start drinking all day too.
Not to say that all homeless people are as deserving of help as someone like that. But that's also not to say all college students are not deserving of help if they
really need it.
