Like i said to another democrat on these boards, it's very white supresmist and colonialist to apply our western ideals onto china and their asperations. China has said 100 years ago that it would eventually re-unify taiwan with china using non voilence.

Eventually they will get what they want - after this nacy visit they have ratched up their stranglehold on taiwan and they never let it go.
Look up how much they have changed the control of the south china sea over the last 20 years.
As an American, I've always wished that my fellow citizens would learn a little bit about the cultures of the nations they want to go to war with for once.
