Rob what is your opinion of black voters who vote gop? Why do you think they're doing that? Especially black voters who used to vote dem and now vote republican. What would explain that change, in your opinion?
I mean you can respond saying you categorically will not answer the question because yada yada, but just humor me here and answer it anyway?

i'm critical of the gop. i'm also critical of the democrats. i am a white man. i live in the atlanta area. there are plenty of black folks around here who make a lot of money. more than me. those people may often find more common ground with republicans based on things like lowering taxes or keeping wages from rising due to owning a business, they'll have a lot of the same gripes that your average white conservative will. i do think income bracket often trumps racial interests because having money is the best way to protect your family in america. i do not think black working class voters are interested in the gop in any significant numbers, but that's just a suspicion. i am aware that people can be bougie regardless of race. i've met plenty of black landlords and black business owners that exploit the labor of their workers.
i'd love to see a comparison of total black voter growth and black voter for republican votes. how many are first time voters? how many are crossovers? what's the ratio between that growth in the gop and similar growth/shrinkage in the democrats? how do these sets of data compare to votes cast for 3rd parties or independents?
