I'm lvl 9 and I'll make a pass through the skeletons everytime on my way out of Qeynos in the hopes that one of them has a cracked staff. Every pp counts at this point.

bandits in the karanas drop sashes and you can trun them in for a bronze wep that vendors for some good plat.
From like 12(?)-18ish? you can level on them, and make some good starting plat, i think I made around 1700 when I did it last time.
if you look for rabid wolves and putrid skellys and gnoll hunters in the qhills zone, thats good for your level right now, you can turn in the quest items for exp and plat rewards too
this map isnt super accurate but it will get you what you need
