Yeah Bankruptcy is tough; i've had to do it - twice - Ch 7 around 1998 and Ch 13 in 2010 after the 2008 AIG/lehman Bros financial crisis & subsequent housing crash, losing a job, and almost losing said home. .
>10 years cash only will straighten you right up... not fun, but manageable and life goes on.
