I think it could be a problem if everyone in TMO/TR sat at char select and when trak popped the server was suddenly flooded with 200 people logging in. Just a thought.

This implies that the GM's predicted the clusterfuck that would be poopsocking and placed this in as a feature (or it's an unintended feature that was left in) to prevent this. I doubt that this is the reason.
Also, it isn't classic. Please fix it!
