I would suggest setting up forums before you launch a server. People become discouraged and leave without having a place to congregate to post about issues and such. It also provides a higher feeling of stability rather than thinking it's just some random server that'll be closed in a week.

Yep, thats a good idea. I'll get a forum setup somewhere at least for the beta / stress test phase (which should last about a week).
