I think it should be legal up to viability and I don’t think it’s murder. I assure you, gun to my head I believe in God and believe it’s wrong. I just don’t think it’s healthy for us to impose our morals on other people.
Granted, my family left Iran after my uncle died and my father fought in war and in return they started asking my mother why she wasn’t going to mosque. My dad’s response as a Muslim was basically even we aren’t good enough for you? I fought for you and my brother died for you, but we aren’t Godly enough?
From my perspective, the modern Republican Party and this impulse to tell me that “abortion is murder!” (That is a very strong statement. You imply demonization of your opponents etc), resembles a lot of the theocratic elements of Iran. Calling everyone a pedophile is like that too. I have three kids and voted OVERWHELMINGLY republicans in my life, but because I voted for Biden I’m so evil that I’m a groomer??? That said, I don’t like debt, open borders, NIMBYism present in democratic led states, so they get a lot of shit wrong too. But letting the most religiously extreme direct the Republican Party seems to me to be a huge mistake.

This isn't imposing morals, it's looking out for the most vulnerable of all: the unborn.
I am one that believes life begins at conception. Human life. That is why birth control is important. It stops conception. Listen, I don't even hurt bugs. Whenever I can I capture them and bring them outside. Life is way too precious, innocent human life especially, and it should be cherished. Where else in the universe does it exist?
There are too many that don't want to bother with birth control and yet want to destroy new human life because they can't keep their cooch shut.
The thing is this Roe vs Wade decision isn't making abortion illegal, it's just giving the power to the states to decide. I'm all for giving more power to the states and less to the feds.
