I think all of that is overblown. I support Elon buying Twitter for the same reason I supported Joe Biden making a mandate for vaccines at workplaces which was later chucked out by the supreme court: what is the course of action most likely to derail the whole thing?
Twitter getting banned from the EU, and everywhere else eventually, once Elon runs it all into the ground, would be good for the species
I mean, something else takes its place eventually, like Myspace and Facebook, but my hope is in the long term billionaires ruining absolutely everything everywhere for everyone causes us to correctly see billionaires as the source of many of our daily problems and destroy one of their primary tools for mass manipulation: social media
