He may be just quick to the draw, like he was with DOS.. he sold his OS to IBM before he even had it, hastily met with a guy in seattle who invented DOS, and bought it for like some measly amount to go on and become the richest person in the world because of it.
I could see him thinking like that with agriculture, it's pretty obvious the end is nigh IMO so if I had the ability to invest in things that I could use to maintain my wealth both during a economic boom or a collapse, like agriculture, I'd say that is a smart buy.
