Thomas Edison was actually an inventor, Elon Musk is "merely" a rich person

I have merely in quotes because I have to acknowledge that rich person = de-facto human excellence in today's America.

While they both might swindle governments for sick fat buck contracts Thomas Edison seemed to be a more hands on actual inventor rather than just a successful and high profile wielder of money.
