This is the most ignorant statement ive read on this subject. the manastone was an item the devs deemed was to OP for anyone to have and patched it out. Everyone i know who knows anything about the items from sleeper says this was a D*** move if the game is locked classic. And i guess you could say ST just wanted to patch it out, but the devs arnt the community, ST is. So with that being said the community should of had a vote.
There is two arguments regarding a vote I can see here:

1) The Community Vote; Is it not fair to say that everyone in the community had a vote when they decided on what type of game they wanted to play? Seal Team voted by prioritizing sleepers tomb keys and in ~10 months since Velious launch amassed 200+ keys giving up Veeshan's Peak, KT/Dain, and tons of classic targets. The second largest mass of keys is Kingdom with ~25 keys.

The opportunity to amass a force, a community of people you enjoy playing with, and go play the game the way you want is available to every one of us. Some people choose to do a thing that has upset you and I hear you on your frustration.

Suggested actions in the next progression server are to vote with your actions and shape Norrath the way you choose.

This is why I love Everquest and wish all the MMOs that follow had actions/consequence mechanics that shaped the virtual world based on player made decisions. Many of us who enjoy this genre of game (MMO) know that wasn't always the case in later games which is why we likely play on P99.

Bless you and RIP Brad! <3

I have HIGH hopes for Monsters & Memories where player actions will shape the world in a multitude of ways!! (https://monstersandmemories.com/) A team of some original EQ Devs, some of which are current players of p99 are developing it.

2) The Sleepers Tomb keyed player vote; Kingdom has 10% the keys Seal Team does. I feel confident in saying that 10% didn't want to wake it...that still leaves the other ~90%. Even with assuming some on that 90% didn't want it awoken in modern times this is defined as a "supermajority". (Supermajority is 67%-90% of the vote).

These are just my viewpoints and certainly do not have to be yours, but I thought it might be helpful to voice it.
