That said...they'll fight over those temples so long as they still stand and a good while after Jibartik.
It's sorta like if the Mormons and Catholic both had a holy site and there was a Jihad and then the Mormons came back and then they didn't want the Catholics to rule and the Catholic wanted freee access to temple and to stay in there homes nearby even tho it was their grandads who genocided the original mormon occupants after they had reinvaded. Tbqh honest I'm not really rooting for either side there. They both have some legitimate claim, grievance. It would be terrible tho if the Palestinian won tho. They'd likely genocide again and also destroy the Jewish temple's. And deny archeologists and access to priests and stuff.
So the best option would be for both areas to become uninhabitable and the temple's destroyed. Or for a more moderate state composed of moderates from both groups...that won't work tho because you have to be extremely authoritarian to hold power there because radicals and terrists from there would steamroll a super chill government...
I'm awarding points to Isreal on this 1.
1) that cop could have headstruck that old lady with a ton of more force. (Like an American cop lol) Didn't hit her in the leg with a full speed swing from that super long batton.
2) rubber bullets and tear gas. Cause you know in 1978 that would have been head shots from snipers.
