I think some Russians did actually stage a handful of rallies on FB. From what I remember they did some for Hillary but more for Trump, and none had anywhere close to 100 people, I think the max was like 20 at one

China does the same thing on a much bigger scale, employs people who’s sole job is to spread pro-China and anti-America rhetoric online. But they get a pass because reasons
