On a related note: voting systems (upvote, downvote) are a garbage attempt to manipulate people’s dopamine response to create addiction to validation on their forums at the cost of quality/truth in posts (individuals sacrificing these to try to get upvotes)
WoW’s and other forums were very negatively impacted by voting systems IMO
