I spent the night looking at russian media, as close to it as I could.
What I figured out so far is that russia is spinning this as a demiliterizaion of ukraine. It's a little remenicient of the WMD's of iraq. They're not saying they have WMD's that I can tell but they're saying they wont allow it!
Nato crossed some red line in the east that I cant really figure out, they say a lot as well.
But that's it so far that I can tell. The ukraninans that are fighting back are either brainwashed or missinformed or something idk but they seem to pity them and say the fight is not with them but the west brainwashed them to think it is so they need to try to avoid casualties.
They say the ukranians shot down some cruise missle sent to some military target, but it fell on civilians and that's an example of how they are being reckless and not caring about civilains.
also that the west is not standing by their message of support for ukraine with nato because they are putting civilians on the front lines instead of sending support. I think to spin it so they can make the Ukrainians join them instead of nato.
