Agree'd with this. EQ PVP tends to quickly devolve into twink toons gatekeeping zones. Major implications like perma death would help resolve this.
and anything past Vanilla makes the world too large for the community that Red will hold (a couple hundred at max). Perfect for old world.

Wouldn't permadeath actually increase the reward from griefing new players? Not only could you kill them, but they'd be so discouraged they would probably leave
